Mayan Compass Necklace, Sterling Silver, Art Jewelry Pendant
This pendant has one of my cast silver
ammonites set into the center, and part of a Mexican coin bearing
markings from the Mayan calendar surrounds the border, creating a
"shadowbox" effect of looking down into the pendant. The bail is
constructed to resemble a watchfob, and the long 30" sterling chain is a
textured "watch-chain" type which hangs long, like a Victorian locket.
This is a truly special piece of art-jewelry.
There is a lot
of symbolism packed into this tiny object and it is intended to impart
the wearer with a sense of direction and grounding - not in the literal,
navigational sense, but in the sense of the direction our lives take
and where the bearer is headed mentally.
The markings of the coin
resemble the points of a compass rose, while the fossil spirals ever
inward, reminding the viewer to look within themselves at the same time
that it reminds us that we are connected to the natural world around us.
Finally, the Mayan calendar and the fossil are both symbolic of time;
this piece is a reminder of the cyclical nature of things and that we
are connected to what has come before as well as what is yet to come.
Witch's Mushrooms Pendant with Lapis Lazuli and Garnets
This one-of-a-kind hand-made pendant is a true witch's amulet. It houses
a large rough Lapis Lazuli (4x1.2 cm or 1.6x0.5 in) that shines with
tiny flecks of silver. 
The mushroom caps are made of copper and the tiny
"eyes" are set with 1.5 mm garnets.
The backside features a witch's cauldron steaming with the best potion you can think of.
And if you look
at it upside down, you may see the witch's familiar...
The pendant is
fully hand-made using different metalsmithing techniques (such as
sawing, soldering, repousse, melting metal, flush stone setting etc.)

allows you to regulate the length
